CINCINNATI, OH -  The Cincinnati Reds Team Store in Great American Ballpark will soon carry “America’s Game” and “Seams of Love” original artworks.  The framed original pieces should hit the shelves within the next couple weeks, in time for their weekend interleague series against Kansas City before Father’s Day.

This marks the third Major League ballpark selling BSC products in 2010, in addition to Busch Stadium (St. Louis) and Target Field (Minneapolis).

I went into the Cardinals store the ther day wearing my faded flag shirt. One store employee seemed quite surprised that the same art word he was selling behind him was featured on the front of my t-shirt. Upon asking for the shirt selection, I was sad to see that they only offered long sleeved shirts – who needs a long-sleeved shirt when it’s 92 degrees outside? The apologetic salesgirl brought me some other lame flag product, which I promptly dismissed before leaving the store. Perhaps the manager should contact the supplier and bring in the short sleeved shirts!!
However… sipping a cold frosty one on 9nth street after the game, I was delighted to see my first sighting!! It was on a 60-something lady who walked into the establishment that served up the before-mentioned hopped beverages, so I missed my chance to strike up a conversation with her as to the purchase history of her shirt…
