Baseball Bat Wood Pen - Carved from an actual Broken Bat

This small batch of executive wood pens was reclaimed and carved from the wood of broken baseball bats.  The wood in the entire pen was carved and turned from the wood of broken ash or maple baseball bats. 

The pens come with attractive chrome or gold hardware and black ink, which uses standard ink refills that can be purchased at any office supplies store.  Comes shipped in a black gift box.  

Engraving - up to 20 characters can be engraved on the top half of the wood for an additional $10 fee.  Include requested inscription in Order Notes at checkout or reply to your confirmation email with your request.

Meet the Maker - Mark Lepore is a lifelong woodworker and retired Los Angeles Fire Department Captain that resides in Southern California.  Mark cut down several broken maple wood bats for this project and turned the wood on a lathe into these beautiful creations.  Mark and his niece Molly operate his wood working business called GarageMonkeyProduccts and his attention to detail is obvious in the finished product. This project is the second of hopefully many collaborations with Mark and Molly.
