Our "Top 10 Plays" of 2019.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves in 2020, I thought it would be fun to take a look back on this past year with a list of what we would consider our "Top 10 Plays" from 2019 for Baseball Seams Co.

10. Etsy Relaunch

In February, we relaunched our Etsy store.  It has been great having two different platforms for our customers to shop our products!  If you are a fan of Etsy, you can find our store here.

9. Retail Branding

Our accessories got a facelift with beautifully crafted retail hangtags!  With new relationships in 2019 with retailers such as Scheels All Sports and Wrigleyville (near Wrigley Field in Chicago), we're excited to introduce shoppers to our brand in 2020.

8. Mariano Gifted BSC Cross

We recently posted the story on Facebook about Mariano Rivera being gifted a Baseball Seams Co. Baseball Cross! If you missed it, you can read about it here.

7. Free Shipping

Consumer expectations are changing, and we care what you think! We did a mid-year survey with our customers and because of your feedback, we pivoted to a free shipping policy on all orders $40+. Thank you for lifting your voice in 2019!

6. Yacht Club Launch

After a spring trip to Fort Myers with my family, I was inspired to launch a beach themed artwork for baseball fans - Sand Dollars, Palm Trees, Anchors, Seashells, and Sailboats.  You can view the entire collection of products here.

5. New! New! New!

We launched so many new products last year! We added silver necklaces and keychains to the accessories line, ‘Seams of Love’ poem, our 5th Annual Christmas ornament, and redesigned the classic ‘America’s Game’ shirts.

4. Charity Auction

I crafted and donated a map of Nicaragua that raised more than $1,300 at the annual Helping Kids Round First charity banquet. HKRF uses the platform of baseball to change the lives of Nicaraguans through farming, medical, and other initiatives.

3. Honoring a Viking

Two alumni wanted to honor their dad who played baseball for Augustana University in the late 60s.  On the 1 year anniversary of their father's death, they presented this commissioned artwork to Augustana Baseball, along with a check for $10,000 from his memorial.

2. Truman State Exhibit

“How Baseball & Tragedy Came Together to Inspire a Thriving Business”
On 9/11, I had the honor of debuting a collection of my baseball artwork as an exhibit at Truman State University, my alma mater in Missouri.  I had the opportunity to speak to several classes during my trip.

...and now for our "Top Play" of 2019...

1. The Miracle League Project

In August, it was a joy to be part of the festivities at the 2019 Miracle League All-Star Celebration in Sioux City, IA. The Miracle League commissioned me to make several logo artworks (one pictured below) to be given to their Presenting Corporate Sponsors. We also crafted more than 20 smaller versions of the artwork to be used as volunteer, donor, and athlete gifts. This is a fantastic organization doing great work across the US and I hope to be part of the 2020 Miracle League All-Star Weekend in Houston, TX!
For more information on commissioned artwork, visit us here!

What an honor to be a small part of such wonderful events this past year! Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2020!

For the love of the game,
Nathan
